Exporting Data from MR MLS – Summit CO, CO

MR MLS

In selecting data from MR MLS be sure to select the options below:

On the “Status” option select the “All”.  This allows all the status options to be selected.   Additionally, placing the starting date of 1/1/2006 in the “Sold Date” box will decrease the number of properties exported and make the export file smaller.

These options will make sure that data needed to create the appropriate graphs, is collected.

You should also make your normal selection choices by selecting other options that you would normally select in doing a CMA.

Once you’ve selected the data, search for your results (press the  button).  Now you are ready to export your results.

To export the results, first select the “Export Data” option in the “Action” (located in the lower left part of the screen).  Then press the  button.  You will then see the “Listing Data Export” screen (as shown below).

Make sure the “All Records” option is set (located under the “Select Records to Export:” section) and that the “Comma Delimited” option is set (located under the “Data Export Fortmat” section).   Do NOT set the “Compress file” option.  Then press the  button.  You will see a screen as shown below.

Use the drop down arrow  to and select the “Top Producer_RES” option, select the “Include Column Headers” option and press the  button.

You then see the “File Download” dialog box.  Select the save option and then choose a filename to save to.

Be sure to remember where you save your file.  This is the exported file that will be used to create your graphs.

Once you have save your exported file, you are ready to run the Neighborhood Buying Patterns application.  When you run the application you will need to point to the exported data file, so make sure that you’ve placed the file in an easy to find place.   For instructions on how to run the Neighborhood Buying Pattern application, be sure to see the Neighborhood Buying Pattern manual (installed on your desktop when you installed the application).
