In selecting data from MYMLS be sure to select the options below:

Select the “Status” option (by clicking on it) and make sure that “All” is selected. This option will make sure that all the data that is needed to create the appropriate graphs, is collected.
You should also make your normal selection choice by
selecting other options that you would normally select in doing a CMA. In this example, we’ve selected
the “Residential”, “Denver North East”, “
Once you’ve selected the data, you are ready to
download the results. To download
the results, select the
button as shown below.

When you select the
button, the dialog shown below is
displayed.

Select the “Entire” option, and then press the
button to add the option to the selected
features list. Then push the
button. Once you press the
button, MYMLS will ask you for your email
address and will email you a link to the downloaded file. You will see the following dialog
box. Enter your email address and
push the
button.

A link to the file that has been downloaded will be sent to your shortly. The email you will receive will look similar to that shown below. By pressing the link you will load the file in your browser.

Once you have the file loaded in your browser, you need to save it to a file. The process to save files is browser dependent. Some browsers have the windows standard FilegSave function. In this browser the save is found under the “page” function.

Select an appropriate filename and location for your file.
Be sure to remember where you save your file. This is the exported file that will be used to create your graphs.
You will see a “Save” dialog boxes similar to what you see below.

Once you have save your exported file, you are ready to run the Neighborhood Buying Patterns application. When you run the application you will need to point to the exported data file, so make sure that you’ve placed the file in an easy to find place.
