In selecting data from SFAR be sure to select the options below:

Under the “Statuses” section, make sure that all the status options are selected. Then place the date of “01/01/05” in the respective from dates as shown above. These options will make sure that all the data that is needed to create the appropriate graphs, is collected.
You should also make your normal selection choice by selecting other options that you would normally select in doing a CMA.
Once you’ve selected the data, you are ready to
download the results. To download
the results, select the
button. Once you’ve selected the
button, the “Export Options”
screen will be displayed as shown below.

In the “Export Options” screen, select the
“Realty Tools Export without Photos” option and press the
button. When you select the
button, the MLS Export dialog shown below
is displayed.

Notice that the file is a ZIP (or compressed) formatted file. Select the link to save the file, as shown below.

When you save the file, the file is downloaded and saved to the location and filename you’ve selected. When the file is downloaded completely you will see the following dialog box.

Select the button to open the ZIP file. Once you open the ZIP file you will see a dialog box similar to that shown below. This will allow you to drag and drop the file to the desktop or the folder location of your choice.

Once you’ve saved the TEXT file you are ready to run the Neighborhood Buying Patterns application.
Be sure to remember where you save your file. This is the exported file that will be used to create your graphs.
When you run the application you will need to point to the exported data file, so make sure that you’ve placed the file in an easy to find place. For instructions on how to run the Neighborhood Buying Pattern application, be sure to see the Neighborhood Buying Pattern manual (installed on your desktop when you installed the application).
