In selecting data from WASATCH be sure to select the options below:

Select ALL the “Status” options. These options will make sure that all the data that is needed to create the appropriate graphs, is collected.
You should also make your normal selection choice by selecting other options that you would normally select in doing a CMA.
Once you’ve selected the data, complete you search. As you may be aware, you may also just count
the number of entries that are found based on your search by using the
button. Once you have your search results, you
are ready to download your results. To download the results, first make sure that
all the entries you want to download are check. To check all the entries press the
button as shown below.

To download the entries, press the drop down arrow
button next to the
entry and select the “Export”
option.

Next, follow the steps shown.

In step 2, be sure to keep “TAB – Tabe Delimited
Values” as your download type. Press the
button to download the data file. Once you press the button, you will see the
following dialog box.

Select the “Save to Disk” option. Your file will be saved to the disk, and you will see the following dialog box. Your file will be saved as an “export.tab” file. However, we recommend that you rename you file to represent the search criteria. To rename your file, select the “All files downloaded to:” option shown below.

Use the dialog box to rename you file by selecting your file (export.tab) and then using the right mouse button and selecting the rename option.
Be sure to remember where you save your file. This is the exported file that will be used to create your graphs.
Once you have saved your exported file, you are ready to run the Neighborhood Buying Patterns application. When you run the application you will need to point to the exported data file, so make sure that you’ve placed the file in an easy to find place (in most cases your file will be on the desktop). For instructions on how to run the Neighborhood Buying Pattern application, be sure to see the Neighborhood Buying Pattern manual (installed on your desktop when you installed the application).
